La Noche del Ocelote

Three kingdoms — mineral, plant and animal — gathered around the ocelot, an endangered cat of the Mexican tropics, surrounded by night.

“La noche del ocelote” speaks about the search for awareness in a state of enlightenment: the magic that is not seen with the eyes but with the soul. Tulum has this magnetism — a place where people come to live beyond typical social standards, using Nature as inspiration to cultivate love and respect for it. The ocelot travels from the southern United States to the tropical coasts of Mexico and, like so many species, is in danger of extinction. We owe Mother Nature the responsibility to take care of this place we call home. This mural is in her honour.
