ABOUT MIRIAM CASTILLLO 〰️
Miriam Castillo is an experienced illustrator, graphic designer and muralist. Born in Mexico, Miriam graduated from Universidad del Valle de México and soon after moved to New York City in 2006, where she developed her professional career.
Now based in Riviera Maya, she takes inspiration from nature and the tropical environment that surrounds her.
She is also inspired by her love for yoga, being a long time practitioner who travelled the world for her passion.
Patterns and yoga, fantasy and social issues play strong roles in her creativity.
Whether it’s publishing, editorial work, packaging, digital campaigns or outdoor murals, Miriam Castillo’s work stands by itself with uniqueness and originality . Her work invites viewers to take a closer look at its incredible patterns and finer details.
Finding her passion in mixed media, she is an artist that pushes her craft forward in creative ways. Her illustrations are highlighted with dashes of color – sometimes subtle, sometimes bold.
